Connect your app to your V3 litter box

📱 Installing the THQ Pets App – step by step


To properly use your PETLUX litter box, you must first install the app and create an account. Follow the steps below:


1. Download the app

iPhone (iOS): THQ Pets in the App Store

Android: THQ Pets on Google Play


2. Create an account

1. Open the app and click Register

2. Enter your email address

3. Choose a password and enter it twice (make sure both are identical)

4. Click Get Code

5. Go to your inbox (also check your spam folder)

6. You will receive an email from PETLUX or THQpets – copy the verification code

7. Return to the app and enter the code

8. Accept the terms and conditions

9. Click Submit and Register


🔔 Important: Allow the app to use your location!
Without location permission, the connection will not work properly, especially on Android.


Your account has been created – time to connect your litter box!

 


 

📶 Connect your PETLUX V3 in the THQ Pets app


First, make sure your Wi-Fi is set to a 2.4 GHz network. (Do you have Ziggo or KPN? Click here for instructions:

(follow the steps here to set up a 2.4 GHz network)

Then follow these steps:

1. Open the THQ Pets app on your phone

2. Check if the green Wi-Fi light on the litter box is on:

Is the light already on? Press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 3 seconds until the light turns off.

Then press and hold the Wi-Fi button again for 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the light starts to blink

3. In the THQ app: click the “+” icon to add a device

4. If a popup appears, click Next

5. The device is now visible in the App, click connect

6. Enter your network details and click Next 
( Please note! Double-check the network name and password)

7. The connection has been made. Click Setup device or Return
( Sometimes it may take a while before you can click Setup device, this means the device is still being added to the App)


Is the connection not being established?


Repeat steps 2 to 6:

• First, turn off the Wi-Fi mode (press and hold for 3 seconds)

• Then turn it on again (press and hold for 3 seconds until beep + blinking light)

• Try to pair again and start at step 2

 


 

🔒 Device not found?

Check the following:

Bluetooth on your phone is on

The app has access to location and Bluetooth


Both are necessary for pairing, so grant permission when requested.
